Hey there! I'm Zoe. My love affair with music began when I was just 12 years old, the moment I first touched the keys of a piano. It was like discovering a new language, one that I instantly fell in love with. As I grew older, I found another musical passion - singing. This opened up a whole new world of genres and styles for me to explore, each one adding a new layer to my musical identity.
One of the most transformative experiences of my life was attending a Summer Gospel Program at Berklee College. It was like diving headfirst into a sea of music, surrounded by the rhythm, melody, and harmony of gospel. This experience deepened my love for music and made me realize that I wanted to spend my life immersed in it.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of performing with my band at some truly incredible venues. From the electrifying atmosphere of the House of Blues to the vibrant energy of South By Southwest festival, each performance has been a stepping stone in my journey as an artist. These experiences have shaped me, challenged me, and inspired me to always strive for more.
But my journey through music hasn't just been about performing. It's also been about learning and growing. Whether I'm practicing a new piece on the piano or exploring a new genre with my voice, I'm constantly pushing myself to improve. Music, to me, is a lifelong journey of learning, and I'm committed to making the most of it.
Perhaps the most fulfilling part of my musical journey, however, has been sharing my love for music with others. Teaching isn't just a job for me - it's a calling. I'm dedicated to passing on the joy and knowledge that music has given me, whether it's through teaching piano or voice, to students of all skill levels and across different genres. I can't wait to help you discover your own musical journey!
