Hi, I'm Jaiden! I’ve been surrounded by music my entire life. My dad is a producer, so music was always a big part of my upbringing. I originally started playing keys, but once I picked up a drum kit, everything just clicked. From that point on, drums became my passion.
I’ve been teaching for about five years, starting back in high school, and I’ve had the opportunity to perform at gigs all throughout the DFW area across a wide variety of genres. Alongside teaching and performing, I’m currently studying at UTD and continuing to take music classes to grow both as a musician and an educator.
One of the biggest moments that shaped the way I teach happened at a conference I attended with my dad. I got the opportunity to play drums alongside some very advanced musicians. At the time, I wasn’t quite at their level, and they definitely let me know it! But one person there chose to encourage me instead. He took the time to teach me, challenge me, and help me improve. He became a mentor to me that day, and he continues to be one to this day.
That experience showed me how much of a difference one encouraging teacher can make. Now, I want to be that person for my own students—to help them grow, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for music. Whether a student is just picking up the sticks for the first time or wants to take their playing to the next level, my goal is to meet them where they are and help them become the musician they want to be!
