Faith: Voice lesson Teacher - Frisco, Texas
Hi, I’m Faith, and I’ve had a passion for music since I was 8 years old, with a love for singing that blossomed around age 10. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in music, and my journey has been shaped by incredible mentors, especially Mrs. Amy Guevara, who taught me how to believe in my own talent and build confidence in my voice.
As a vocalist, I’ve faced challenges, like being told I couldn’t sing certain songs, but I didn’t let that stop me! I proved to myself and others what I was capable of, and it’s this resilience that I aim to instill in my students. I teach all levels and styles, with a special love for indie pop, jazz, alternative rock, musical theater, and contemporary Christian music.
What I value most as a teacher is helping students build confidence and feel proud of their progress. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
I can’t wait to work with you and help you find your unique voice!" 🎤🎶
Christiana Schiller: Voice & PIANO lesson Teacher - Frisco, Texas
Hi! I am Christiana Schiller, originally from San Jose, California, and now living in Denton, Texas. I have been studying voice since I was 4 years old and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas.
I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House, and I have won several awards, including a Downbeat Student Music Award in the Vocal Soloist division.
While I am well-versed in all genres, I specialize in jazz, R&B, and pop. Songwriting is a deep passion of mine, and I am currently working on music for an upcoming EP. I have also studied piano for 5 years, which I use to help compose my original music. Teaching kids and sharing my love for music is something I am truly passionate about.
More About Voice Lessons with Us
Though raw talent is impressive, a beautiful singing voice rarely comes naturally. Many factors help determine whether a vocalist stands out from the crowd. Private voice lessons at Matt Burk Music Studio can help students hone their voice and accentuate their natural strengths. Whether a student wishes to learn proper technique to ensure voice protection, learn sight singing, develop a unique style, learn favorite songs, gain an edge for competitions and auditions, or just improve his/her voice for personal enjoyment, we tailor voice lessons to suit each student's voice, preferences and goals.
At Matt Burk Music Studio in Frisco, instructors encourage students communicate with their instructor about specific songs and styles they would like to learn. Our instructors eagerly provide repertoire and song suggestions as well, based on the student's unique voice, experience, and goals. Voice lessons incorporate basic techniques such as abdominal breath support, vocal placement, diction, and stylizing. Some technical aspects are addressed during warm-up and other elements are incorporated into each student’s song selections. We think learning to sing should be a fun and encouraging experience, and with our voice lessons in Frisco, we enjoy teaching students to sing what they love most while focusing on each student’s strengths and helping them find what makes them unique.
