Mason Paladino: voice lesson Teacher in plano, Texas

Hey there! I'm Mason, and I've been passionate about singing ever since I was a kid. It all started when I was just 10 years old and discovered my love for belting out tunes. My music journey really took off when I received high praise from my elementary school music teacher for my rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Can you believe I was the only student to get a perfect score? Woohoo!

As I continued through middle school, I joined the choir and my love for music grew even stronger. In 7th grade, I started taking private lessons and really started to take my singing studies seriously. By the time I reached my sophomore year in high school, I joined the varsity level choir and decided that music education was the career I wanted to pursue.

After graduating from high school, I headed off to Baylor University where I studied choral music education. During my time there, I studied classical music but also expanded my repertoire to include jazz, pop, and even rock! I've sung everything from classical to jazz to popular music.

While at Baylor, I also had the opportunity to serve as an All State choir camp counselor, which was such an incredible experience. It really solidified my passion for teaching and helping others grow musically.

After obtaining my Bachelor of Choral Music Education degree, I joined the Dallas Symphony Chorus and have been enjoying every moment of it. But you know what brings me the most joy? Teaching!

I love teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching style is all about giving my students a strong foundation in the basics and techniques, and then diving into their specific genre and style preferences. I pay close attention to how my students are feeling in their learning process and how their body is responding to the music. This allows me to create a highly customized lesson plan that caters to their individual needs and goals.

Above all, I want my students to understand what's happening when they sing and the mechanics of their voice. The more they understand, the more they can grow on their own. So come on, let's sing together and embark on an amazing musical adventure!
