mbms summer camps!
We thrilled to announce that Summer Camps are coming to MBMS this July - and we’ve got something truly special in store for your young musicians!
Each camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am-2:30pm and will be led by one of the incredible instructors at Matt Burk Music Studio. With their expert guidance and infectious energy, your child will spend the week writing, playing, and recording original music alongside new friends.
Even better, each band will have the oportunity to perform their songs live at our Summer Bash at Memphis! In addition, every camper will receive a recording of the music they created - a one-of-a-kind keepsake from an unforgettable week.
We will have three amazing camps this summer for ages 4-12. The details of each camp are below.
Mini Keys Camp - July 7th - 11th

Ages: 4-6
Our youngest musicians dive into the world of rhythm, melody, and movement in this fun-filled week of musical discovery! Through playful songwriting games and hands-on instrument time, Mini Keys campers build confidence, spark creativity, and learn the joy of making music together.
Jam Band 101 Camp - July 14th - 18th

Location: MBMS Plano ( Park and Los Rios)
Time: 8:30am - 2:30pm
Ages: 7-9
Jamband campers jam, write, and perform in their very own band! In this week-long adventure, kids collaborate with bandmates to create original songs, explore new instruments, and grow their musical skills—all while having a blast with games and team challenges.
Rock, Write, and Record Camp - July 21st - 25th
Dates: July 21st - 25th
Location: MBMS Plano
Time: 8:30am - 2:30pm
Ages: 10-12
Aspiring songwriters and rock stars take the lead in Rock, Write, Record! Campers write, rehearse, and record their own music. With guidance from pro musicians, they’ll develop their unique sound, sharpen performance chops, and leave with a track to share and perform live!
