Guitar Lessons

The versatility of the guitar makes it a very popular instrument. At Matt Burk Music Studio, we understand that this versatility draws students with a wide range of musical interests. We have intentionally chosen instructors who can help students master practically any style they would like to learn.

Guitar lessons at Matt Burk Music Studio include theory and technique, as well as ear training, reading tablature, and of course songs that the student chooses! We strive to create an environment where students can easily develop their own style and unique voice while drawing on a baseline of technical know-how. Whether you’d like to learn to play rock, pop, country, classic rock, metal, singer/songwriter, jazz or other styles, our instructors will help you hone your skills, so your natural talent can flourish.

We teach guitar lessons for a variety of skill levels, from beginner to very advanced. Students are encouraged to participate in jam sessions, are a fun way to help develop group rhythm and gain confidence performing on stage and with others. We always use positive reinforcement and never forget our primary goal: To help students everywhere experience the joy and passion that comes with expressing themselves in music, learning their craft proficiently and becoming a success in their own right!
