At Matt Burk Music Studio, we specialize in private music lessons tailored to each student’s abilities and interests. You can choose from piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass, songwriting, and audio production & recording, lessons from one of our talented instructors.Our teaching methods incorporate music theory, proper technique, application, and style with a focus on what engages the student most. We also offer really fun, unique performance opportunities for students who are interested in performing publicly!
We encourage creativity in our students and always focus on positive reinforcement.

When to Begin
All students must complete and submit our New Student Enrollment Form and our Payment Authorization Form before beginning lessons.
We’re often asked what ages we teach. We teach students of almost all ages (well into retirement, even!). Most of our younger piano students begin lessons around age five or six. We generally recommend beginning drums, guitar, and voice no earlier than age seven. If you have questions about whether your child may be ready for private music lessons with us, we will be happy to discuss that with you and/or set up a complimentary interview for you to meet with an instructor.Cost of Lessons
