Our audio production and recording services are designed for a wide range of artists at various stages of their careers. Whether you’ve spent countless hours mastering your instrument or perfecting your vocals, or you need some help putting the finishing flourishes on your song, the experts at Matt Burk Music Studio can help.
Music production is a specialty expertise that requires a keen ear and excellent communication. A seasoned music producer can transform even modest talent into a competitive, signature sound. At Matt Burk Music Studio, audio production and recording can include everything from song development to bringing in professional musicians to record tracks. Our Audio Production & Recording includes a wide array of services:
- Voice-over Productions (for the spoken word)
- Singing to Pre-recorded Accompaniment Tracks (like a karaoke track)
- Singer/Songwriter Demos
- Full-Scale Live Band Production
Pricing
Because we offer such a wide array of services and levels of production, we are able to suit almost any budget!
For someone who is a singer/songwriter who wants to have their songs professionally produced and recorded, but who may have a more limited budget, we have a special package just for you. Our Singer/Songwriter Demo is a flat rate of $500 per song.
With our Singer/Songrwiter demo you receive:
- A 30-minute planning consultation with our producer to discuss your song and your vision for the final product.
- A music bed with: piano or acoustic rhythm guitar, bass, pad or strings & drums.
- Two hours of studio time and standard post-production for these vocals.
- Basic mix and master of your track.
As mentioned above, with the Singer/Songwriter Demo, a basic rhythm guitar track is included (if that is appropriate for your song). You also have the option of adding the services of a session guitarist to record one track for your song for this $125. This is something that would be included in our Silver Level Production, but is available as an add-on to the Singer/Songwriter Demo. This add-on can give a nice edge to what is typically a more basic sound!
For someone who has more advanced production needs, it usually makes more sense to choose from our “menu” of individual services:
- Studio Time & Post-production Time: $65/hour
- Standard Mix & Master: $250/song
- Advanced Mix & Master: $575/song
- Silver Level Instrumental Production: $1,450/song
- Gold Level Instrumental Production: $2,150/song
- Platinum Level Instrumental Production: TBD based on specifications
We take care of all of the instrumentalization with our production services, based on your package selection.
If you would like to sing or bring in a vocalist to sing on your tracks, that studio and post-production time is billed separately at $65 per hour.

Cash Callaway – Voice, Songwriting & Audio Production Instructor; Audio Engineer & Producer
Cash is a professional performer, producer, songwriter, and audio engineer, and a teacher of voice, keyboard, songwriting, and audio production. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in music theory/composition from Baylor University, he spent 13 years working in the music industry in Dallas and Los Angeles.
He has more than 10 years of experience teaching students ages 7 to 60, and in practically every genre. Cash has instructed notable students such as Shaylen Carrol, from the HBO TV show “The Wanna Be’s,” Hayley Orrantia, from the Disney Soundtrack “Tinkerbell,” Demi Lovato, and Ryan Cabrerra.
